Supporting the Breed - Article

We are grateful to have permission to put the article written by Mike Glover, with photographs by Milton Haworth of the article published in the June issue of the Lake District Life & Lancashire Life magazine ( about the Fell Pony.

Important: Please note that there is a misquote which has been acknowledged, and should read "Mrs Robinson says there are just 10 other hill breeders of fell ponies in Cumbria that use their allocated grazing rights for their ponies. There are about 6,500 of the animals left in the world. They have been listed as vulnerable by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust."
