A second successful exhibition of the Heritage of the Hill Bred Fell Pony was held by kind permission at Gowbarrow Hall Farm, Watermillock, Cumbria. It ran from the 25th July to the 8th August 2021. It included a wonderful display of photographs of the breed over the years and information about their history, including connection to farming and their importance as part of the heritage of Cumbria. A wonderful collection of artworks by local photographers, artists, and felters was on display and to purchase, all inspired by the local Fell Ponies.
A beautiful farm walk was also included which allowed people to see the wilder culture on the farm, see the cattle and ponies and Kune Kune pigs if they were able, and enjoy stunning views across Ullswater.
Thank you to all those who helped and supported, and who came to enjoy the event. Until next time!
